Grade 4 titanium spring contact clip

Mounted on an anodizing rack, the clip holds a small aluminum part by spring force and carries current into it. The contact point should sit on a non-cosmetic face or where a contact mark is acceptable.

Made from Grade 4 spring-temper titanium. Grade 2 is softer and is only quoted on request, never substituted.

How it is used

  • Bolt the flat end to the rack with titanium screws.
  • Open the clip by hand; it should close firmly on the part.
  • Strip the oxide from contacts between loads as your process requires.
  • Replace clips that lose grip or crack.

First-article checks

  • Key-dimension report on the first article, measured against the agreed drawing.
  • Material certificate from the titanium supplier for the sample; heat-lot traceability for batch orders.
  • Close-up photos of welds and contact points, and photos of the packed parts before dispatch.

Each piece protected against crushing, bending, and scratching; every pack labelled with code, size, grade, and quantity.
